Big Sickle is a crescent-shaped planetoid located in the Big Sickle Quaternary between Gotmouth and Dranura. Named for its distinctive curved shape that resembles a farming tool, this verdant world features vast meadows on the inner side, and a lake with a single island on the other side.

The Fairweather Pirates were temporarily stranded near Big Sickle after their ship was damaged during a storm and an attack by a feathered squid-like creature. During their time on the planet, they encountered and aided the residents of Waning Wood against the various threats facing the settlement, particularly the harpies that had come in during the storm and posed a constant danger to inhabitants.
