A bugpony is a type of Fairy that emerges from Ooid meteorites rather than usual mammalian reproduction. Bugponies are often called “buggos”.
Bug ponies possess bug like features and are easily distinguished by their “bug eyes” which are all one color.
Biology
Bugpony life starts with the queen’s Ooid Larva. Ooid Meteorites are meteorites from the Evernight that looms above hanaq.
These Ooid meteorites contains an Ooid Larva, this Ooid Larva creates a Queen that can produce about 1,000-10,000 bugponies in her lifetime. The queen’s appearance is determined by the environment and local fauna.
Despite coming from The Evernight, they appear to bleed pink blood. Furthermore, they can have offspring with other fairies, but not other bug ponies who came from the same mother. Hovi is an example of such a pony-bugpony hybrid.
