Fritz is a bulky zebra who owns and operates the Shadow Haven bar on Banana Isle, Archibast.

Personality

Fritz is known for his direct, no-nonsense attitude and martial prowess. He challenges those who interest or annoy him to duels, as demonstrated when he fought Tsavo after she discovered Stellar Seekers documents in his bar. His bar serves as a gathering place for various adventurers and serves as a hub for information and connections throughout the Deep Basin region.

Background

Fritz served as captain of the Shipyard 66 Division on Archibast. When Vida arrived on the planet around 733 AW and began abducting the local population from his underwater caves in Deep Basin, Fritz led an investigation to stop the dragon. This investigation brought him into contact with Master Kimo Baja of the Wind Druids, who teamed up with him.

During their confrontation with Vida, Kimo wounded Vida. This encounter drew the attention of Shamesh, who intervened and placed a geas on Vida, restricting the dragon to consuming only one person per lunar cycle. Fritz witnessed Shamesh turn a significant number of Wind Druids to his cult before

Years after the initial Vida incident, Fritz returned to Archibast, only to find himself targeted by the vengeful dragon. Vida’s attempt to consume Fritz led to another confrontation with Kimo, but this time the dragon’s revenge took a more insidious form. Unable to directly harm Fritz or Kimo due to Shamesh’s restrictions, Vida instead began afflicting Kimo’s wife, Lana Lana, with a degenerative “rust” condition, contributing to the breakdown of Kimo’s marriage and his withdrawal from active Wind Druid leadership.

Fritz eventually left his military career and established himself as the owner of Shadow Haven bar on Banana Isle. Despite retiring from active service, he maintained his connection to the Wind Druids, wearing their traditional gi modified to suit his preferences. He became known for his expertise in magical tattoos and developed a reputation as someone knowledgeable about arcane arts.
