Queen Mida Nui is the zebra ruler of the Nui Kingdom on Archibast. Despite her royal status, her actual authority is constrained by the economic influence of the High Rollers, who control major facilities like the Sakuba Manufactory. She is known for being friendly with the Bannersairs and for hosting the famous tournament that drew adventurers from across the system.

During the events of the Archibast Saga, Queen Mida had a daughter named Moani with her king-consort, who was consumed by Vida when he attempted to return from his studies. This left her widowed and raising her child alone, explaining her reluctance to discuss the father’s fate.
